So there is almost a week till Halloween and I realized that I haven’t shared our Halloween costumes yet! What was I thinking? Sometimes, I don’t even know!
My husband had this great idea for us to dress up as 50’s people. Well, my little one was the only one that ended up actually having a costume . . . but that’s another story (pretty much messed up my skirt . . .) I think it turned out great. It was a little long, and there was an adorable scarf, but she would have nothing to do with it . . .
I didn’t make my own tutorial, but found a few great ones out there.

I used a combination of all of these, my hubs helped with the math. The video was a help, I’m a visual learner!
I used felt, easy to work with, no hemming!
Sequins make up the poodle collar and leash, I bought a roll at Hancock Fabric for super cheap. Glue gunned the sequins on.
For the poodle, I traced this appliqué onto black felt, cut it out, glue gunned it onto the skirt, and glue gunned black pom poms onto the poodle. I also added a little pink bow to the poodle ear ear.
